Although some Home editions of Microsoft Windows are indicated to be compatible with Microsoft SQL Server Express, ClinicPro recommends Professional editions of Microsoft Windows.
EMR requires Microsoft SQL 2005 Express or greater.
(Note that the Atlas template requires Microsoft SQL 2008 Express or greater.)
EMR does work with Microsoft SQL 2014 Express yet this version requires registration with Microsoft in order to be downloaded.

It is recommended that the newest possible version of Microsoft SQL Server be used.
