Question:  Why do I have an initial balance line of 0.00 on the transaction card when entering a new patient?.

Answer:  The initial balance line is created for those offices that are transferring from another software so they can input a balance forward.

The patient and transaction cannot be deleted until you erase the date in As Of in the patient screen. When creating a new patient, ensure As Of date is deleted (left blank). Then ClinicPro will not create an initial balance line.
