Replacement Claim
Question: I need to send replacement claim because the diagnosis codes that I submitted on the original claim were wrong. How do I send replacement claim?
Answer: any time that you need to send a replacement claim, you would go to Activities, Status Inquiry. Choose the appropriate patient. A list of the patient's build procedures will appear. Tags the procedures in question and hit Process. On the status inquiry screen, choose the drop-down under Indicator for a replacement claim. You can also send a corrected claim or a void claim using this procedure.
